I recently was given the opportunity to shop Red Envelope through the October Great Gift Program, sponsored by Buttoned Up. This is my second experience with this sponsor and program and it’s just been as seamless as can be.
If you’re not familiar with Red Envelope, I urge you to step over to their site and browse their selections. The gifts offered there are unique and personal and there is something for everyone. Do you ever need a gift for someone that’s almost impossible to shop for? Do you ever think ‘There’s just got to be one item that would be just right for _____ ?” Know anyone who always says ‘I don’t need anything.’ but you think that something special would just tickle them to bits?
That’s the feeling I get when I browse Red Envelope. Every page seems to yield an item that’s unique, thoughtful and stands on it’s own. I love these ‘Reasons I Love You’ stones, the Whiskey Lover’s Set and the Cubist Appetizer trays, all found on this special page dedicated to Christmas giving.

But what really struck my whimsical love of anything unique was this Hootch Owl corkscrew.
This corkscrew is boss, people. I was expecting a little metal job, more design than heft or ability and this guy dropped all those thoughts right on their head. I could hurt someone with it, it’s that sturdy. And it cranks open a bottle of wine like nobody’s business. The arms, as cute as they are, both function as bottle openers and pop a metal bottle top off with barely any effort. I love the burnished look to it as well, a mix of antique and old-fashioned, and unlike anything I’ve seen.
Shopping Red Envelope couldn’t be easier too. The best part about it is that you get to choose your delivery date so you always know when your item will arrive and can be prepared. Shipping is top-notch too, and everything is protected and well contained.
There’s plenty to find on Red Envelope, whether it’s for holiday shopping or any time of the year. They’ve got everything too; from clothing to toys, jewelry, household goods, art, kitchenware, and garden goods, and many of their items can be engraved and personalized. You’d be hard-pressed to not find something terrific within it’s pages.
{{I was given a free gift code for purchase and shipping, provided by Buttoned Up, in exchange for this post. All opinions and feedback are my own.}}
